Dianne Bradshaw BSc(Hons) completed her training at the McTimoney School in 1986 and went on to qualify in Animal Manipulation in December 1993. She then studied the Bowen Technique for people and animals in 1998 to extend her practice in the treatment of back and neck pain and many related problems.

After completing my training in 1986 I set up my practice in Wilmslow in Cheshire where I had a very busy clinic treating people and gaining the experience I use today.

I have always wanted to work with animals so began my training on the McTimoney Animal Manipulation course and 10 months after gaining my certificate I moved to Hong Kong to continue my work.  I stayed there for eight months treating the racehorses both on the racetrack and as ex racehorses being trained for different uses by the enthusiastic British expats!  I also began working in a clinic on Hong Kong Island where I treated local people and expatriates for back, neck and muscular problems using gentle manipulation.

When I returned to the UK my own health problems led me to discover the Bowen Technique in which I started training to treat both people and equines.  Similar to the gentle manipulation, Bowen Therapy provides a gentle whole body treatment but using the muscles as a point of release rather than manipulating the joints of the spine, pelvis and limbs.  The results I found were amazing and gave me a second excellent treatment to help my patients further.

In 1999 I relocated to live in the South Cotswolds and now travel the leafy Cotswold lanes in search of Equestrian Centres and Livery Yards for my equines and their owners.  My most recent ventures have taken me to Kenya with a group of therapists where I was using Bowen Therapy on the baby elephant orphans at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust!  However, now back in the UK I am still called on to treat dogs, cats, horses and the occasional farm animal when needed as well as my regular clients of the human kind in my busy practices in Gloucester, Nailsworth and Stroud.
